Backyard Bash!

The Ranek Family had us over for a cookout last night. The girls had a blast watching their buddies.

After dinner it was time to play inside with Wild Hair Addie and On the Move Fallyn. The big girls are so cute and lots of fun to watch!

Happy Birthday!

Connor and Katelyn celebrated their 12th birthday.

The twins joined in on "singing" Happy Birthday!

Auntie Leisha gave the girls a present too - handmade blankets to snuggle with. They also got cute hats and outfits from Leisha and their Auntie Sheri from their beach vacation in Hilton Head.

Emily's Backyard Exploration

Mommy and Emily took their turn exploring the backyard with Tyson. Once the girls are old enough they will have lots of fun walking in the woods and finding critters in the creek behind us.

NATURE LESSONS FROM DADDY!

Claire and Daddy had some special bonding time learning about things in our backyard. He can't wait to teach the girls about the birds that visit his birdfeeder.

FUN WITH OUR FRIENDS!

Claire and Emily hosted playgroup on Thursday. They had lots of fun with their friends and are learning all kinds of new tricks.

NAKED TIME!

The girls enjoyed floating and splashing around in their bath tub today. Then it was some naked time which they loved!

The girls had their 4 month check-up and got a good report from Dr. Boyce. They are growing well and seem to be doing all the right tricks for their age. They had to get more shots though - ouch!

Claire weighed in at 14 lbs. 1 oz. - 23 3/4 in.

Emily weighed in at 13 lbs. 3 oz. - 23 3/4 in.

At 4 months the girls continue to discover new things all the time - their favorite discovery - each other.

They also love to play with Daddy when he gets home.

The girls enjoy their first Independence Day

The Maines family kicked off the celebration with a BBQ at their house over the weekend.

We joined our neighbors for a cookout on the 4th. Emily enjoyed hanging out with her Daddy while Claire played and snoozed in her carseat clubhouse.

Then it was on to a parade through Noblesville where we joined the Reussers. The girls had a great time watching the parade filled with random entries of cars and tractors, to Batman and a cartoon turtle.
