A Visit To Santa ...

We were all excited for our visit to see Santa this year. We wrote him our letters and Emily was going to do the talking for us. She had it all planned out that she was going to be a big girl and sit on his lap. Claire was at least willing to go in hope of a candy cane and maybe she would shake his hand.

So we get there - letters in hand ... plan still in place ...

Emily takes one step into his little house and burst into tears. Neither one was going to go anywhere near Santa. But after a bit of talking and Mommy sharing the letters with him they decided he was a pretty good guy after all. Maybe next year we will get that picture on his lap!

Halloween Night!

The girls loved trick-or-treating!

It was fun to run into our friends

And our neighbors are so nice - several of them made up special treats for the girls

They even were so big as to tell mom "You can wait on the sidewalk"

Daddy got us all tickets to go see a live performance of The Little Mermaid.

We were so excited for the show!

Halloween Party!

Zoo Boo!

My friend Katherine from college came in town for a quick visit so we headed to Zoo Boo! We met up with friends for lunch and then trick-or-treated while we saw all the animals. What a fun day and fun visit with friends!

Halloween Fair!

The kids in 4-H put on a Halloween Party in Noblesville each year. It is really cute with old fashioned games and candy. We were all set to be brave - Even Claire was going to have a good time.
