Chlidren's Museum Fun

Grandma and Papa Nick came for a visit and we took them to the Haunted House at the Children's Museum

 We even earned a patch for our Daisy troop in the process

 And we scored cool 3D glasses to take in all the props in the Time Warp Themed Rooms

 

 

 

 We had lots of fun exploring the other exhibits too

Halloween Fun

We had a fun Friday night trick-or-treating through Mommy's school

 The student council kids dress up and hand out candy

 It is fun to see all the doors decorated

 And what is behind each one - Loved the hot dog!

 We even ran into our buddy Lauren

 Then on to the Gambles for a friends pj movie night

 Thanks to Jenny the kids enjoyed lots of yummy treats and crafts

 We sure love hanging out with this gang - wish we got to do it more often!

Fall Break

 
We kicked off fall break at Great Wolf Lodge

 Always a fun place to go - we love to swim!

 

 And play

 Especially playing tricks on each other in the tree house

 We even met up with Sammy the Squirrel this time

Our First Trophy

So an unsuccessful season of soccer - 0 wins

 But we got a trophy and are super excited about that!

4H Halloween Party

My little fortune teller and artist ready for a night of fun at the fairgrounds

They loved hanging out with their buddy Addie

And even won a prize in the costume contest - Emily got the most original and Claire got the best overall

And the night wouldn't be complete without a hayride around the grounds

 

Headless Horseman

A night of fun with the Maines at Conner Prairie

Oh no - The headless horseman got Emily's head

 

She returned as a ghost to get Claire's

 

All heads were returned so we could play on the hay slide

 

Hear stories from Holly Halloween

 

Play on the playground

 

Have a dance party with the werewolf

Play some instruments

 

And end the night on the hayride ... only to see the headless horseman again ... luckily he didn't get any of our heads!

Girl Scout Camp Out

We were invited to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway with other troops in the area to spend the night at the track

We started off the night watching a movie with friends

 Then playing some games and reading books in our tent

Unfortunately we woke up to pouring rain at 4:00 am

Our breakfast of champions until we could get inside for activities at 8:00 am (That was a long 4 hours trying to entertain 8 little girls)

Despite the rain, it did clear up a little bit for our ride around the track

 

 

Poor things ended up walking their bikes for almost the 2 1/2 miles

Not as fun as we had hoped

 But then it was on to other activities inside

 

 

 All in all a soggy weekend - but we had fun making some memories and definitely earned our camping badge!
