FUN WITH OUR FRIENDS!

Claire and Emily hosted playgroup on Thursday. They had lots of fun with their friends and are learning all kinds of new tricks.

The girls enjoyed floating and splashing around in their bath tub today. Then it was some naked time which they loved!

The girls had their 4 month check-up and got a good report from Dr. Boyce. They are growing well and seem to be doing all the right tricks for their age. They had to get more shots though - ouch!

Claire weighed in at 14 lbs. 1 oz. - 23 3/4 in.

Emily weighed in at 13 lbs. 3 oz. - 23 3/4 in.

At 4 months the girls continue to discover new things all the time - their favorite discovery - each other.

They also love to play with Daddy when he gets home.

FUN ON THE FOURTH!

HAPPY 4th OF JULY!

The girls enjoy their first Independence Day

The Maines family kicked off the celebration with a BBQ at their house over the weekend.

We joined our neighbors for a cookout on the 4th. Emily enjoyed hanging out with her Daddy while Claire played and snoozed in her carseat clubhouse.

Then it was on to a parade through Noblesville where we joined the Reussers. The girls had a great time watching the parade filled with random entries of cars and tractors, to Batman and a cartoon turtle.

What are we going to find this morning?

The girls are becoming so much more active. They are both getting really close to rolling over (that one arm is tricky to get over). With each new attempt they have found that they can pretty much turn themselves in a full circle and scoot across the room. At night we think they do laps around their crib. We always find them in a different spot and throughout the night we sometimes hear that they have hit the buttons on their aquarium and are enjoying the bubbles and fish.

Tyson has also become quite the little helper. Here you can see she has just finished giving the girls a bottle and reading them a story. It is so nice to have an extra hand and entertainer.
