Fall Break Fun!

Our family had a great time at Great Wolf Lodge over fall break!

The girls loved the pool the first day and tried a few slides but definitely are not thrill seekers!

Emily loved leaping on the lilly pads

Claire loved the wave pool

Their favorite activity was the hot tub - we spent lots of time "swimming" there

Lounging around after a full day!

 Emily and Claire also got to make Violet Wolfs at the Creation Station and then they traveled everywhere with us!

 8:00 was story time in the lobby with Wiley Wolf and then a pj dance party

We saw Violet during our lunch break and the girls were so happy!

 They even had crafts in the Cub Club to entertain us - it was definitely a fun place to visit!

We enjoyed the evening at Conner Prarie with some halloween festivities

About to embark upon the haunted hayride - wonder if we will see the headless horseman?

 Ahhh - he found us and chased us for awhile hoping for one of our heads

 

Oh no - he got Daddy's!

And then daddy came back as a ghost and got mommy's!

 

It ended up being a really fun family night!

Farewell my friend!

Our friends the Wilsons came to visit before they embark on a 2 year journey to Uganda.  They are moving there to help a group of 33 orphaned children.  They truly are incredible people!

 It was lots of fun to catch up and give the kids a chance to be crazy together - my how our lives have changed since college!

Movie Night

The girls had a blast at their school movie night

While they enjoyed Madagascar 3 we got to go out for a relaxed sit down dinner!

FALL

Emily and Claire had their first school field trip to the pumpkin patch

 Then they did all kinds of activities with the pumpkins they picked and decorated them at school too

 Molly enjoying some fall fun too - she loves to eat the leaves and probably would like to taste the girls' pumpkins too!

(Hence the short chain in the front yard)

4H Halloween Party

The girls enjoyed their first Halloween event of the year!

 We ran into lots of friends and got to go on the hayride together

 Then it was on to the games - Fishing

We went to the Potter's Bridge Fall Festival

The girls enjoyed the crafts

 And listening to music
