CHRISTMAS DAY!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

WOW - Christmas is the best! We had such a great day. We started out the morning opening presents with mommy and daddy and grandma and grandpa. We got all kinds of cool stuff! Here are some pictures of our favorite things.

PRESENTS ....

Daddy's candy - OH BOY!

TOYS ... YIPPEE!

ELMO - I LOVE YOU!

Then we were off to Aunt Sheri and Uncle Andy's house. We got to sample potatoes, rolls and green beans. Forget the baby food - we want some more of that grown up stuff! Everyone spoiled us rotten with attention and gifts. We can't for Christmas to come again. We are so lucky to be loved by so many people and to have been able to spend this special day with our amazing family!

Christmas Eve

We spent our first Christmas Eve at our Aunt Leisha and Uncle Dan's house. It was so much fun! Nanny fed us christmas cookies and Danny dipped our binkies in rum. We got to play with our grandparents and all kinds of fun things found around the house while we explored!

9 MONTHS OLD!

We just went to see Dr. Boyce for our 9 month check up and everything seems to be fine. We are gaining weight and reaching all of our developmental milestones - so two thumbs up! Here are some funny pictures from our first month of life compared to now. Wow we used to be really small!

Emily - 17 lbs. 14 oz. - 27 1/2 in.

Claire - 18 lbs. 7 oz. - 27 3/4 in.

Snowed In!

We woke up to pretty snow covered trees this morning. I was all about getting out there to play in it (well who are we kidding, I can't even walk. It was more to pose for a picture for mommy). I didn't mind getting zipped up into this marshmallow of a snowsuit, but my sister Claire wouldn't have any part of it. She just watched from the window with Tyson.

CHRISTMAS FUN!

Today we went to visit this really neat guy by the name of Santa Claus. He had a white beard and was dressed in a cozy red suit. We sat on his lap and he asked us what we wanted for Christmas. Our parents prompted us to ask for our two front teeth (then maybe we will stop being so cranky) but we want toys.
Can't wait to see what he brings us!

We also had fun playing with the Christmas tree ... mom and dad finally let us out of the pen. We like to explore ... so far the coolest thing we have found is the door stopper that makes a funny noise when we pull on it. Oh - and this plastic tub.

Mommy still isn't sure if I pushed Claire inside or if she climbed in on her own ... We sure have lots of fun together!

FUN AT THE THOMAS HOUSEHOLD!

Hmmm ... what's this?
Hey Emily - I think it's beer!

Let's crack one open and see how it tastes.

As you can see we had lots of fun at our slumber party with the Thomas family - Uncle Andy is the coolest. We stayed up really late and slept in until a record breaking 8:00. Alll that partying wore us out. Thanks for having us over - we can't wait to come stay again!

Thanksgiving Fun!

We spent our first Thanksgiving with Mommy's family in Michigan. We had so much fun with all our cousins, Aunts and Uncles, Papa Nick and Grandma, and doggies! Here are some photos of our exciting visit!

Room service please ... mmmm - bottles!

Followed by swimming in the hotel pool

We also celebrated an early Christmas and exchanged presents. Our family really spoiled us and we got such cool stuff.

Claire makes a pretty good gift on her own!
Emily loved to eat the wrapping paper!
The big girls get spa stuff - can't wait until they can do our make-up and nails.

Papa Nick and Katarina also celebrated their birthdays
We love you all! Thanks for helping to make our first Thanksgiving so memorable!

THE PEN!

Well ... we have been locked up! We are getting into everything these days. We are very brave and crawl everywhere trying out all sorts of fun things. We are even courageous enough to pull ourselves up unto anything (stairs, floor lamps, couches, etc.) and let go thinking we can stand alone. We have taken a few tumbles, but are pretty tough and shed few tears. Mommy and Daddy think we have to get a little bigger before we can roam free on our own again. I guess this place will be ok - it is full of all our favorite toys!

What a mess!

Oh boy ... mommy came home with the coolest treat. She let us have a teething biscuit which we loved and got ALL over the place. Hopefully our top teeth will make it through soon. We have been working on them for awhile now!
