4H County Fair

We headed to the Noblesville 4H Fair today to check out all the animals.

Emily loved all of them and got to pet a llama.

Claire wasn't quite as sure, but the animals wanted to be friends with her.

It was a really interesting show ... we had no idea the range of entries. Everything from farm animals, to the gift wrapping competition, to lego building (which Scott plans to enter next year :) and a pet parade that anyone could participate in.

Pool Time!

The Raneks invited us over for a playdate at their pool on Friday. We had lots of fun splashing around with our friends and showed off our dare devil skills. Bring on the swimming lessons we're ready!

Thursday Night Smackdown!

It was Thursday Night Smackdown with the WWT (Wild Wrestling Twins). Daddy got in on some of the action as Claire Machowoman Savage took down Emily Hacksaw Dugan.

Family Day

We spent our Sunday together at the zoo and then headed out for dinner at Outback (the Kangaroos and Koalas inspired us).

Claire liked the zebras and funny birds running around with them

Emily liked the Lorikeets this time and wanted to point out their pretty colors

Noblesville Street Dance

We joined our buddies the Reusser's for a night of fun on the square in Noblesville - some games for the kids, dinner and live music. The best part though was being silly together afterward at our house (and a girly movie for mommy with her friend Angie :)

Playgroup at our house!

We had our playgroup buddies over today for some fun in the sun! It was a hot one so we were busy splashing and running through the sprinkler.

Toddler Time

We hit the library for their summer toddler time program today. We sang songs, the librarian read us stories and then there was craft time. Our big friends Addie and Bella sat and tried the playdoh for a bit while we ran up and down the library aisles. We didn't follow the quiet rules very well - but it was fun. Then it was off to McDonald's for some lunch with our buddies. Summer is the best!

Backyard BBQ!

The Maines Family had us over to celebrate the 4th of July. They had quite the set up and we had a blast playing with all the fun things in their backyard.

We enjoyed a parade in Noblesville today. There were lots of things to see and we did our best waving - scoring candy for mommy and daddy!

Then we went to the festival at the high school afterwards with live music, games for the kids and a neat balloon lady.

Happy Birthday America - we had lots of fun celebrating today!
