A fun morning with our cousins!

Just Hanging Out

Phoenix is really pretty and the landscape is so different from Indiana
 Cheering on Courtney at soccer
 Painting some pottery
 Lovin' on Hogan

The Phoenix Science Museum

We spent a fun afternoon with Aunt Debbie checking out the science museum
This sculpture was made of old toys (fun to see some retro happy meal toys from our day)
 Emily testing her brain strength
The sisters battling for most brain control
Scott laying on a bed of nails
Lots of fun playing with the water - making obstacles courses, making music and much more!

Sea World

What a fun day exlporing Sea World in San Diego
First stop checking out the kids rides

Then it was on to the dolphin show
The cast did lots of acrobatics and played with the dolphins
Then on to the Shamu Show
 Wow - they were big!
Then some close encounters with the sting rays

 And the turtles
Then a really cute show starring a sea lion and sea otter - our favorite for sure!

We won a backstage tour and got to check out some cool things

Then ended the day with some more rides
The teacups aren't as much fun as an adult as I remember - DIZZY!

 We had a great day!

San Diego Highlights

Checking out the Gas Lamp District Downtown
Seaport Village was a cute area near downtown too
Torrey Pines was one of daddy's favorite spots to visit
Checking out the sites along the La Jolla Coast
A little play time on Coronado Island
 The water was freezing!
Some of the most fun though was just swimming at the hotel pool

San Diego Zoo

We started our adventure in San Diego at the Zoo

The coolest thing by far was watching the bears find and eat their food
We learned one of their favorite special treats is baby food
The zoo is so large they have a bus that you can ride around on - great for taking a break and getting a different view of some animals
Famous for their panda bears
They were sleeping though - so not too exciting
This little devil was cute (so was the Tasmanian one - ha!)
 Love this little monkey too!
The Silly Safari ahead of me as they went along the paths

The enclosures were very open and the grounds were beautiful

It was a fun day - Luckily we all made it out alive!
