7 WEEKS OLD ... FROM ONE EXTREME TO THE OTHER!

Emily finds her lungs and can make a lot of noise ...

But then she calms down and is out!

Claire, not wanting to be outdone by her sister ...

with the louder cry gets priority in the swing and falls asleep. Thank God!

The girls will be seven weeks old on Monday. Wow - I can't believe how much our lives have changed in these past 2 months. They are doing well and continue to grow and change all the time. They are definitely seeing more and will follow sights and sounds. Claire loves her fish aquarium with music and bubbles and it seems to be the only thing to comfort her at times. Emily loves to be in the swing and can even just lay in her pack & play awake and be happy. Both girls are getting really strong and can hold their head up during tummy time for quite awhile. They are also discovering their hands and like to wave them in front of their face and sometimes try to suck their thumbs.

The girls enjoy some play time together!

The girls went to their first baseball game this weekend to watch their cousin Craig play. They loved being outside in the breeze. They also had fun at their first cookout at the Reusser's house and were spoiled by mommy and daddy's friends who held them and loved on them all night. It was a great night out for the parents and we really enjoyed laughing and being with other adults!

We were so very glad that you brought your mommy and daddy over to our cookout. We like them a whole bunch and enjoy hanging out with your family. You girls couldn't be more precious, if you tried! Love - Angie, Doug & Addie

Dad said the girls were clapping for Craig at his game. Wow, they have grown. Now they are going to games and listening to Rap (Nathan said Rap was playing in the minivan). That's not right! Bring them to Connor and Katelyn's soccer games or track meets now that they are little gad abouts. They are too cute.
