We took the girls to visit Santa so they could tell him what they wanted for Christmas. We had it all rehearsed and they were ready. Emily was excited to tell him about the baby doll she wanted.
Claire was just happy to be getting the candy cane. She is terrifed of sitting on his lap and we told her all she had to do was go in the little house and say hello ... so she was ready!
Then we actually got inside and all bets were off. The tears started and both girls had a death grip on us. Emily did manage to say her name, but they were not sitting on his lap. Oh Well - maybe next year!
